### 觀世音母身法印第三

> Chapter 3: The Mudra of Guanyin's Mother Body

「兩大指堅各捻二小指頭，兩手並竪相著，二頭指相捻在二大指、小指上，二無名指亦爾，二中指在上，頭少不相到，掌下相著，頭指來去。呪曰：

> With both thumbs standing firm, press them against the tips of both little fingers. Hold both hands upright and bring them together, so that the index fingers touch each other on top of the thumbs and little fingers. Do the same with both ring fingers. Let the middle fingers rest above, with their tips slightly apart. Join the palms at the base, and move the index fingers back and forth. The mantra is:

「『唵一稅閉二合提二槃陀囉二合婆悉尼三折吒麼俱吒四陀羅尼五莎訶六』

> "Om, svabhāva-śuddhāḥ sarva-dharmāḥ svabhāva-śuddho 'ham. Oṃ śuddhe śuddhe mahāśuddhe svāhā."

「是法印呪，若有人能日日作之，相續供養，以胡麻、酥蜜和稻穀華，誦呪一遍一燒火中，如是乃至一千八遍——一百八遍呪燒亦得。如是日日作是法者，一切觀世音歡喜。

「又法，孩兒啼哭，當以此呪呪結、呪索，繫項即止。

> Another method: when a child cries, use this mantra to bless a cord and tie it around the child's neck, and the crying will stop.
