護摩安隱品第十
Chapter 10: Homa for Peace and Safety
「世尊！是不空王護摩三昧耶，與於有情作大安隱降伏一切，擁護有情除諸災障。若護宅者，當以蓮花一千八莖，塗黑芥子油，誦持母陀羅尼真言、祕密心真言、奮怒王真言加持護摩，即除宅中一切災疾，一切天神、觀世音菩薩而擁護之。又加持白芥子、安悉香、牛酥，於七日中護摩之者，則得擁護城邑聚落一切人民。若白月十五日，加持白華、畢里陽愚藥、多誐羅藥、黑芥子油、護摩一百八遍、一切貴人敬而喜之。若加持牛膝草、白花、酥酪蜜，護摩一百八遍供養菩薩，見諸人民愛而敬之。若白月八日加持酥蜜塗蓮花上，護摩供養獻我之者，滿七日夜則得財寶。若以佉陀羅木然火，加持蓮花葉莖、拘物頭花、白芥子、酥、護摩一百八遍、不為一切姤裔魔障毘那夜迦而相嬈惱。若白月八日加持白栴檀香、畢履陽愚花子、稻穀花、白芥子、酥，護摩一千八遍供養菩薩，至十五日夜，其藥訖使尼捧持銀錢五百相惠。若黑月八日於河岸邊淨浴身服，於初夜時加持木苽木截治然火，加持木苽花、酥蜜護摩，稱藥訖使尼名，燒焯記滿一千八遍，至月盡日晝夜不食如法護摩，其藥訖使尼瓔珞嚴身現身而來，捧持寶箱而相奉施。若見之時，特勿受取，亦勿共語瞻視他好。當自正心瞻怒奮聲誦持真言，便棄寶箱合掌禮拜，白真言者：『願施歡喜。』持真言者是時奮聲誦持奮怒王真言二十一遍，便自不現。後若須者，當於半夜一誦真言一稱藥訖使尼名，滿一百八遍則自現前，任為使直。若黑月十四日，於伏藏處如法置像，以諸香花、三白飲食敷設供養。加持蘇曼那花、蓮花、荷葉、白芥子、酥，護摩一千八遍。又加持白芥子水，右手掬持，散伏藏地上滿一千八遍，伏藏寶物則便相現。真言者取，分為二分，一分給施一切三寶，一分自用。又加持稻穀糠、鹽，護摩一百八遍，見諸外道歡喜供養。若白月十五日一日一夜不食不語，以諸花香敷設獻我，加持白栴檀香、蓮花、酥蜜，護摩一千八遍，夜夜當得金錢百文，唯通供養一切三寶。若加持波羅奢木、木樒木、柏木，截治然火，加持沈水香、白栴檀香、稻穀花、酥蜜，護摩萬遍，得金萬兩。分為三分：一分供養一切三寶，一分寫經造像，一分自用布施貧窮孤老病人，特莫貯積，若貯積者則不復得。若白月十五日一日一夜不食不語，入東流河中水當至腰，面東瞋怒加持白芥子，打水中一百八遍，則於水中現一童女，拱持七寶而相奉惠。當即受取，分為三分：一分供養觀世音菩薩一切三寶，一分自用，一分布施貧下之人。又白月十五日，以諸香花飲食敷獻，供養觀世音菩薩。加持牛膝草、白膠香、酥蜜，自稱已名護摩一千八遍，則除一切病惱怨難。又杜仲木然火，加持白芥子、安悉香、酥，護摩一千八遍，則得消滅十惡五逆一切災障。又加持稻穀花、白栴檀香、白芥子、酥乳，護摩一千八遍，當得財寶而自豐饒。又黑月八日加持棘針木截治然火，加持擲躅花、薑根、黑芥子油，護摩一千八遍，則得阿毘柘嚕迦調伏成就。又加持蓮花、白栴檀香、白芥子、酥，護摩一千八遍，則得大雨普洽充足。若霖雨者，加持祈雨火食灰，遍散十方，雨則晴止。又加持祈雨灰，散於十方，則成結界。又加持祈雨灰，逆風散者，風則止息。又龍窟前、藥叉窟前，加持蘇枋木塗酥，護摩一千八遍，窟門自開，入無障礙。若深山中，加持拘勿頭花、多誐攞藥、白芥子、酥，護摩一千八遍，其諸藥精現身而來，任所採取。又加持木苽木截治然火，加持胡椒、酥，護摩一千八遍，其大梵天、帝釋天、那羅延天、大自在天現身護念。當見之時而乞諸願，悉皆滿足。又加持蘇曼那花、揭抳迦羅花、優鉢羅花、酥，護摩一千八遍，其日天月天一時現前，放大光明照祐加被，得大神通。又加持皂莢木截治然火，加持茴香子、天門冬、蘇枋木末、白栴檀香末、白芥子、大麥、牛酥，護摩七日，得剎帝利王族僕從，悉除障苦。又加持白芥子、粳米、薑根，護摩千遍，得諸藥叉、羅剎擁護順伏。如上等法所欲作者，皆結不空羂索印、奮怒王印，誦母陀羅尼真言、祕密心真言、奮怒王真言，齊互雙用則得成就。」
"World-Honored One! This Amoghapasha Homa Samaya brings great peace and safety to sentient beings, subdues all hindrances, and protects them from all calamities. If you wish to protect a home, take one thousand eight lotus stems, coat them with black mustard seed oil, and recite the Mother Dharani, the Secret Heart Dharani, and the Wrathful King Dharani while making the homa offering. Then all sickness and misfortune in the house will be removed, and all heavenly beings along with Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva will protect it. Furthermore, if you make a homa offering with white mustard seeds, benzoin resin, and cow’s ghee for seven days, you will protect the entire city, town, or village and all its people.
On the full moon day, if you make a homa offering one hundred eight times with white flowers, bi-li-yang-yu herb, duo-ga-la herb, and black mustard seed oil, all noble people will respect and delight in you. If you make a homa offering one hundred eight times with verbena, white flowers, ghee, curds, and honey as an offering to the Bodhisattva, all people will love and respect you. On the eighth day of the bright half of the month, if you coat a lotus flower with ghee and honey, offer it in a homa for seven full days, you will gain wealth and treasure. If you light a fire with khadira wood and make a homa offering one hundred eight times with lotus petals and stems, red lotus flowers, white mustard seeds, and ghee, no jealous demons or Vinayaka obstacles will harass you. On the eighth day of the bright half of the month, if you make a homa offering one thousand eight times with white sandalwood, bi-li-yang-yu flower seeds, rice flower, white mustard seeds, and ghee as an offering to the Bodhisattva, on the night of the fifteenth day, the Yakshini (ogress) will come holding a gift of five hundred silver coins for you. On the eighth day of the dark half of the month, bathe yourself and change into clean clothes at a riverbank. At the first watch of the night, light a fire with wood-apple wood, and make a homa offering one thousand eight times with wood-apple flowers, ghee, and honey, while reciting the Yakshini's name. Fast day and night until the last day of the month and continue performing the homa. The Yakshini, adorned in jewelry, will appear and offer you a treasure chest. When you see her, do not accept the chest nor speak to her or look around. Instead, recite the dharani loudly with an upright mind and fierce expression. She will abandon the chest, bow to you, and say, 'Please accept this happily.' Then you should loudly recite the Wrathful King Dharani twenty-one times, and she will vanish. Later, if you need her, recite her name once each time you recite the dharani, one hundred eight times in the middle of the night. She will appear and be at your service.
On the fourteenth day of the dark half of the month, set up an image at the site of buried treasure, and arrange an offering with various incense, flowers, and three white foods (milk, curds, and ghee). Make a homa offering one thousand eight times with champaka flowers, lotus flowers, lotus leaves, white mustard seeds, and ghee. With your right hand, hold water mixed with white mustard seeds and sprinkle it over the treasure site one thousand eight times. The buried treasure will then appear. Take it and divide it into three parts: one part to offer to the Three Jewels, one part for yourself. If you make a homa offering one hundred eight times with rice husks and salt, you will win the joy and respect of all non-Buddhists. On the fifteenth day of the bright half of the month, remain silent and do not eat for a full day and night, then set up an offering of incense and flowers to me. Make a homa offering one thousand eight times with white sandalwood, lotus flowers, ghee, and honey. Every night you will receive one hundred gold coins, but they may only be used for offerings to the Three Jewels. If you light a fire with palasha wood, tree-rainer wood or cypress wood, and make a homa offering ten thousand times with aloeswood, white sandalwood, rice flowers, ghee, and honey, you will gain ten thousand gold pieces. Divide them into three: one part for offerings to the Three Jewels, one part for copying sutras and making images, and one part for yourself to give to the poor, orphaned, elderly, and sick. Do not hoard them, or you will receive no more. On the fifteenth day of the bright half of the month, remain silent and do not eat for a day and night. Enter an east-flowing river up to your waist, face east, and angrily sprinkle white mustard seeds one hundred eight times, striking the water. A young girl will appear holding a seven-treasure gift for you. Accept it and divide it into three: one part for offerings to Avalokiteshvara and the Three Jewels, one part for yourself, and one part for the poor and lowly. On the fifteenth day of the bright half of the month, arrange an offering of incense, flowers, and food to Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva. Make a homa offering one thousand eight times with verbena, benzoin resin, ghee, and honey, while reciting your own name. All sickness, trouble, and hostility will be removed. If you light a fire with eucommia wood and make a homa offering one thousand eight times with white mustard seeds, benzoin resin, and ghee, all the ten evil deeds and five heinous crimes, as well as all misfortunes, will be eliminated. If you make a homa offering one thousand eight times with rice flowers, white sandalwood, white mustard seeds, ghee, and milk, you will gain wealth in abundance. On the eighth day of the dark half of the month, light a fire with thorn wood, and make a homa offering one thousand eight times with oleander flowers, ginger root, and black mustard seed oil. This will achieve the subjugation ritual of wrathful practitioners. If you make a homa offering one thousand eight times with lotus flowers, white sandalwood, white mustard seeds, and ghee, heavy rain will fall everywhere, providing abundance. If there is continuous rain, throw the ashes from the rain-praying homa in all directions, and the rain will stop. If you spread those ashes in all directions, it becomes a boundary. If you scatter them against the wind, the wind will cease. At the mouth of a dragon's cave or Yaksha's cave, if you make a homa offering one thousand eight times with sappan wood coated in ghee, the cave door will open on its own, and you may enter without obstruction. In a remote mountain, make a homa offering one thousand eight times with red lotus flowers, duo-ga-la herb, white mustard seeds, and ghee. The herbal spirits will appear, and you may gather them as you wish. If you light a fire with wood-apple wood, and make a homa offering one thousand eight times with pepper and ghee, the great Brahma, Indra, Narayana, and Maheshvara will appear and protect you. When you see them, ask for any wish, and it will be fulfilled. If you make a homa offering one thousand eight times with champaca flowers, red lotus, blue lotus, and ghee, the sun god and moon god will appear, emitting great light to bless you, granting you great supernatural powers. If you light a fire with acacia wood and make a homa offering for seven days with fennel seeds, asparagus root, sappan wood powder, white sandalwood powder, white mustard seeds, barley, and cow ghee, the Kshatriya royal family and their servants will come to you, and their suffering and obstacles will be removed. If you make a homa offering one thousand eight times with white mustard seeds, rice, and ginger root, all Yakshas and Rakshasas will submit to and protect you.
For all the methods described above, if you seal them with the Amoghapasha Seal or the Wrathful King Seal, and simultaneously recite the Mother Dharani, the Secret Heart Dharani, and the Wrathful King Dharani, you will achieve success."
