### 入溫室法第十六十六條

> Chapter 16: Entering the Warm Chamber<note>Sixteen rules</note>

一、具威儀，持坐具。二、尊宿未浴，不得先浴。三、要須持瓶。四、不得垂手把缾。五、當揖手把缾。六、不得共大己五夏人同浴。七、初脫衣，不得將袈裟在餘衣下。八、入浴室內，脫淨衣安淨竿上。九、脫觸衣安觸竿上。十、不得浴室內大小便，當須預出入，然後方入。十一、洗浴先從下洗上。十二、當用濕手巾，兩手各把一頭，橫安背上抽牽，垢膩即落。十三、當須寂默，不得喧笑。十四、不得污觸湯水；手若不淨，當用缾水淨之。十五、在浴室內，不得洟唾。十六、浴了當用湯水洗潑坐處令淨，不得皁莢狼藉。

> One, maintain proper deportment and carry your sitting mat. Two, do not bathe before the senior monastics have bathed. Three, always carry a water pitcher. Four, do not hold the pitcher with drooping hands. Five, hold the pitcher with palms joined in respect. Six, do not bathe together with those who have completed five summer retreats and are your seniors. Seven, when first removing clothes, do not place the kasaya robe underneath other garments. Eight, when entering the bathhouse, place your clean clothes on the clean clothes rack. Nine, place your soiled clothes on the soiled clothes rack. Ten, do not relieve yourself inside the bathhouse; be sure to take care of such needs beforehand, then enter afterwards. Eleven, when washing, start from the lower body and work upward. Twelve, use a wet cloth, holding one end in each hand, place it horizontally across your back and pull back and forth—dirt and grime will fall away. Thirteen, remain silent; do not laugh or talk loudly. Fourteen, do not contaminate the hot water; if your hands are unclean, use water from the pitcher to rinse them clean. Fifteen, do not spit or clear your nose inside the bathhouse. Sixteen, after bathing, rinse the seat area with hot water to clean it, and do not leave soap pods scattered about.
