### 見和尚闍梨不得禮法第十八十一條

> Chapter 18: The Etiquette of Not Bowing to Monks or Teachers<note>Eleven Rules</note>

一、在佛前。二、在殿塔前。三、眾集時。四、病時。五、高座時。六、師臥時。七、師洗鉢及剃髮時。八、師正洗足時。九、師正嚼楊枝灌漱時。十、師在聚落道行。十一、師洗浴及大小便時。

> Here are the translations: 1. Before the Buddha. 2. Before the temple or stupa. 3. When the assembly is gathered. 4. When ill. 5. When seated in a high seat. 6. When the teacher is lying down. 7. When the teacher is washing his bowl or shaving his head. 8. When the teacher is washing his feet. 9. When the teacher is chewing a tooth-cleaning twig or rinsing his mouth. 10. When the teacher is walking along the road in a village. 11. When the teacher is bathing or using the toilet. These are the eleven occasions when one should not recite or teach the Dharma.
