錢塘齊明寺超明尼傳十三

From a young age, she was intelligent and virtuous, showing a pure and sincere nature that set her apart. At eighteen, she took refuge in the Buddhist path, leaving home to become a nun. She was exceptionally devoted to her practice, diligently observing the precepts without lapse. Her mind was deeply absorbed in meditation and the study of scripture, and she excelled in explaining the profound teachings of the sutras. She lectured on the \*Lotus Sutra\* and the \*Vimalakirti Sutra\*, drawing large audiences who were moved by her clear and compassionate words. Later, she resided at Qiming Temple in Qiantang, where her reputation for purity and wisdom grew far and wide. She guided countless devotees, urging them toward goodness and the cultivation of wisdom. Her conduct was impeccable, and her compassion knew no bounds—she treated all beings with kindness, whether near or far. In her later years, she fell ill. Knowing her time was near, she sat upright, recited the Buddha's name with unwavering focus, and passed away peacefully. A fragrant scent filled the room, and a gentle light appeared—signs that she had attained a favorable rebirth. Her disciples, honoring her memory, enshrined her relics and upheld her teachings for generations to come.
