During the years 853 to 855 of the Tang Dynasty, the eminent Japanese Tendai monk Enchin compiled a catalog of Buddhist texts sought while residing at the Kaiyuan Temple in Fuzhou. This catalog systematically records the Buddhist sutras, treatises, commentaries, and ritual texts collected by Enchin at Kaiyuan Temple and other locations, encompassing a wide range of texts from the Tendai, Esoteric, and Vinaya schools.
