The *Maitreya's Ascent to Tusita Heaven Sutra: Auspicious Response Commentary and Outline*, compiled by Shouqian of the Song Dynasty, is an exegetical work that provides a structural outline and commentary on the *Maitreya's Ascent to Tusita Heaven Sutra*. Following the Tiantai school's framework, it systematically divides the sutra's chapters and sections, elucidating the supreme qualities of Maitreya Bodhisattva's Tusita Pure Land and the methods for rebirth and practice. Its content encompasses the sutra's essential meaning, explanations of key terms, and guidance for contemplative practice, reflecting the integration of Maitreya devotion and Pure Land thought during the Song Dynasty. This work holds significant value as a Buddhist text, providing key insights for the study of Maitreya-related scriptures and the development of Chinese Pure Land Buddhism, and occupies a notable place within the Chinese Buddhist commentarial tradition.
