Venerable Shuiyun. His monastic conduct is pure and lofty. He deeply studies the Buddhist scriptures, with a particular expertise in the Pure Land Dharma Gate. His aspirations are serene and unadorned, free from any artificiality. He is truly like water and clouds. Our friendship is the deepest. This book contains one hundred questions and answers, promoting the Lotus Sect. All are grounded in reality, flowing from correct knowledge and correct views. It clarifies doubts and dispels confusion, perfectly suited for our present times. It upholds the essential tenets of the Buddhas and Patriarchs without the slightest deviation. It is truly a bridge across the Dharma-ending age. As for his direct and straightforward words and his perfectly correct intent, those with discerning eyes will certainly recognize them. There is no need for me to add anything further.
