### 圓滿成就第九

> Chapter 9: Perfect Accomplishment

佛告阿難：「法藏比丘修菩薩行，積功累德無量無邊，於一切法而得自在，非是語言分別之所能知。所發誓願圓滿成就，如實安住，具足莊嚴、威德廣大清淨佛土。」阿難聞佛所說，白世尊言：「法藏菩薩成菩提者，為是過去佛耶？未來佛耶？為今現在他方世界耶？」世尊告言：「彼佛如來，來無所來、去無所去，無生無滅，非過現未來，但以酬願度生，現在西方。去閻浮提百千俱胝那由他佛剎，有世界名曰極樂，法藏成佛號阿彌陀。成佛以來，於今十劫，今現在說法。有無量無數菩薩、聲聞之眾，恭敬圍繞。」

> The Buddha told Ananda, "The monk Dharma Treasury practiced the Bodhisattva path, accumulating merit and virtue beyond measure or limit. He attained mastery over all dharmas, in a way that cannot be known through words and discrimination. The vows he made have been perfectly fulfilled. He dwells in accordance with reality, complete with adornments, majestic power, and a vast, pure Buddha-land." Hearing what the Buddha said, Ananda asked the World-Honored One, "Has the Bodhisattva Dharma Treasury already become a Buddha in the past? Or will he become one in the future? Or is he now a Buddha in another world?" The World-Honored One replied, "That Buddha, the Tathagata, comes from nowhere and goes nowhere. He is without birth and without death. He is not past, present, or future. But to fulfill his vows and save living beings, he now appears in the West. Beyond a hundred thousand kotis of nayutas of Buddha-realms from Jambudvipa, there is a world called Ultimate Bliss. There, Dharma Treasury became a Buddha named Amitabha. It has been ten kalpas since he attained Buddhahood, and he is now teaching the Dharma. He is surrounded with reverence by an immeasurable, countless assembly of bodhisattvas and shravakas."
