> On a rainy day in early spring of the Dingmao year under Emperor Jiaqing's reign, feeling bored by the window, I borrowed a personally hand-corrected edition by Mao Fuji from the Shili Studio to collate and punctuate this text. After that, I was able to read it with proper pauses. I then transcribed Mao's postscript at the end, and also borrowed Qianli's annotated edition to check it once again.
