When it came to clear dawn and beautiful scenery, he made the King of Liang feel ashamed of the Rabbit Garden excursions. The Crown Prince, having returned to oversee all government affairs, appointed him Magistrate of Qinghe State. He was transferred from the position of one of the Three Ministers of the princely state to become a Palace Attendant.

> The Minister of the Imperial Secretariat and Governor of Sizhou, the Prince of Chengyang, established it. During the Yong’an reign era, a woman gave birth to a child, and an imperial messenger was sent to the Prince of Taiyuan’s residence, repeatedly asking for wine to drink. Zuren’s entire clan of provincial governors were all former generals under the Prince of Chengyang, with some past kindness connecting them, so the Prince went to seek refuge with them. At the time, he heard that Erzhu Zhao had placed a very high bounty on the Prince of Chengyang. He had two hundred catties of gold, and with official rank and salary being substantial, he gave it all to Erzhu Zhao, but even then the sum was insufficient. Households that accumulate disaster will have all misfortune converge upon them. The Prince then falsely claimed that a dream had increased the gold payment and the horse given. Though comparable to the Marquis of Wei whipping Tian Fen, it was the eunuch Wang Tao, styled Tao Tang of Yang, who established this temple. For among the temples built by Tao Tang alone, people call them heroic structures. The craftsmanship surpasses that of Zhaoyi, representing the most accomplished work in the tradition.

> The temple was located outside the West Sun Gate. A golden deity (some versions say "a foreign deity") arrived, carried on a white horse. From that time onward, travelers came to this place, but their strange and ugly features were impossible to understand. When Empress Dowager Hu heard about this (some versions omit this detail), a certain man from Luoyang was there as well (some versions say "there was also a man from Luoyang"). Was this man a government official? (Some versions ask "Did he hold an official rank?"). After about ten days had passed (some versions say "after about a month"), Fahe’s father passed away. A large bamboo stick became a staff of mourning (some versions clarify: "A large bamboo arrow became a plain staff of mourning"). Then someone created the "Song of the Twelve Animal Signs" (some versions add the word "initially" here).

> He established it. Within the surrounding wall and gates, everything seen and heard became the Jetavana Temple. Vermilion and white gleamed with color; flowers and fruits flourished luxuriantly; fine trees shaded the courtyard—nothing like this existed in Jambudvipa. The Palace Attendant and Imperial Secretary was discerning, wise, pure, and calm. All nations offered their treasures; the gold marten adorned his head. When the spring breeze stirred, there was none who did not drink deeply of his profound mysteries. The scholar Zhang Peishang of Jingzhou said, "Unusual autumn flowers share the same color." Ziming got drunk after drinking eight pints. South of the market was the Imperial Daughter's Terrace; within the terrace was the residence of the Palace Attendant, the Marquis Zhao Gang. Where his feet trod... South of the market were the two wards of Tone-Tuning and Music-Regulation. There was a man named Tian Sengchao, skilled at playing the reed pipe, able to sing the 'Brave Man's Song.' Oppressive officials were everywhere; the court ate late out of worry. Sengchao played a brave man's tune from the rear. His reputation for might was established early. For over twenty years, no city could hold out against him. Yanbo always, when facing battle, would charge alone into the formation, his might shaking the barbarians. He shot and killed Sengchao. He compared it to Boya losing Zhongziqi. He was skilled at brewing wine. At the height of summer heat, no matter how it was stored, the wine would not spoil. It was fragrant and delicious to drink, making one drunk, remaining so for a month without waking. Many high officials of the capital, when leaving the city to go to their domains, would go there because it could be taken on long journeys. It was also called 'Donkey-Rider Wine'. During the Yongxi era, someone took wine to his post. He encountered bandits on the road; after drinking it, they became drunk and were all captured. For this reason, it was called 'Bandit-Catching Fine Wine'. North of the market were the two wards of Filial Affection and Final Duty. Within the wards, there was a funeral singer named Sun Yan. Yan found this strange... it looked like a fox's tail. As his wife was leaving, a neighbor pursued her; she turned into a fox. Travelers on the road, seeing her, were pleased and drew near; all had their hair cut off. At that time, any woman wearing colorful clothes was pointed out as a fox spirit. This began in the fourth month and lasted until autumn. Multi-storied towers faced each other. It was forbidden to use gold or silver, brocade or embroidery. He then married a woman from Henei. Ying heard that the Liang family was marrying off their daughter. "Have you forgotten me?" Ziji was horrified. It also turned into a horse made of rushes; all turned into figures of cattails. He gave up his residence to build a temple. It was about ten feet high. He planned to gild it. "Now I will take your son Choudou to pay for the gold." His heart was ill at ease. Qing was fifty years old. The elephant spontaneously produced color. Everyone in the whole ward came to see it. He then renamed the ward of Accurate Wealth. It was established by the imperial clan. Their book bags recorded their celebrations. They monopolized the wealth of the seas and mountains. Connected rooms and adjoining houses, tall terraces, and fragrant trees. He constantly vied with the Prince of Gaoyang. Using gold and five-colored silk, they wove it into a rope. "Were they bandits in the mountains or valleys?" They then submitted one after another. Chen was in Qin province. They were called 'Wind-Chasing Red Steed' and 'Seven-Hundred-Li Horse.' Chen often said to people, "Jin's Shi Chong boiled eggs for painting and carved firewood for decoration." Gold vases and silver jars, over a hundred in number; cups, trays, boxes, and dishes were enough for the rest. The remaining wine vessels, embroidered silk, oiled damask, silk yarn, finer linen, money, and silk could not be counted. He couldn't get up for three days. The Prince of Jiangyang came to inquire about his illness and said, "Your treasure-filled goods are too many." He smiled and said, "Money and silk are piled up in the galleries." He gave the officials silk to carry, letting them take as much as they wanted. Some tried to carry more than they could handle, stumbled, and injured their ankles. The Empress Dowager asked the attendant, "Why so little?" The jeweled pagoda soared high. On the eighth day of the fourth month, the gentlemen and ladies of the capital could not surpass this. Trees soared into the clouds.

> Wanting to raise a righteous army, he fled to the south of the Yangtze River. During his time in the imperial court, he was close with colleagues in official service, like paired birds in flight. He wrote records listing the living and the dead, and whenever he was treated with respect, he regarded it as showing kinship. Now he immediately returns to the palace. However, the state is a border region.
