For five years, I had the privilege of serving Master [Rui]. Among the scholars I saw who had spent a long time studying the *Book of Changes* in depth, every single one was utterly convinced and won over whenever the Master expounded its principles. This moved me to raise funds for carving the woodblocks to publish his complete works, placing *Chan and the I Ching* first. After the Master had finished his commentary on the *Book of Changes*, he then presented the diagrams and explanations, so these have been appended to the final volume.
