Master Puming's Verse on the Second Tuning: The First Adjustment
我有芒繩驀鼻穿，一迴奔競痛加鞭。從來劣性難調制，猶得山童盡力牽。
I hold a halter made of strong vine, pierced right through the nose. Each time it struggles wildly, I add more whip and blows. Its stubborn nature, from the start, is hard to train and steer, But still the mountain boy pulls tight with all his might and fear.
