### 賢劫品

> Chapter on the Bhadrakalpa

○過去莊嚴已曾壞， ○迨今賢劫復將成。

> The majestic eras of the past have already crumbled, And now the virtuous eon is once again arising.

《起世經》云：「云何世間壞已復成？謂過去世界磨滅之後，經無量時起大重雲遍覆梵天，注大洪雨，滴如車軸，經歷百千萬年，彼雨水聚漸漸增長，乃至梵天雨止之後，水還自退。無量萬億由旬有大風起，名阿那毗羅，吹彼水聚，波濤沸涌，生大沫聚，吹置空中，從上至下依舊建立，造化天地自此始也。」映字函第八卷過去莊嚴劫、現在賢劫、未來星宿劫謂之三世，世世相續，循環無盡成壞之，詳見三災品

> The Scripture on the Formation of the World states: “How does the world come into being again after its destruction? After the previous world has been ground to dust, immeasurable time passes. Then a vast, thick cloud spreads across the entire Brahma realm, and a great rain pours down—raindrops as thick as chariot axles. This rain falls for hundreds of thousands of years, and the water gradually accumulates, rising all the way to the Brahma realm. When the rain ceases, the waters recede on their own. For an infinite number of yojanas, a great wind arises—the wind known as Anābila—blowing upon those waters, causing waves to surge and boil. It stirs up an immense mass of foam, sweeping it into the air, and from above to below, it establishes a new foundation. Thus, the formation of heaven and earth begins.”
