一

佛之糞掃衣，見其掛樹梢，於此吾合掌，禮拜糞掃衣。

> The Buddha's cast-off robe, seen hanging on a tree branch—here I fold my hands in reverence, bowing to the discarded cloth.

> Second.

彼時作其業，九十二劫間，吾不知惡趣，想佛此果報。

> Having performed such deeds, through ninety-two eons, I never knew the realms of suffering—this was the fruit of contemplating the Buddha.

第四劫之昔，剎利名樹精，大力夷四方，出為轉輪王。

> In the fourth aeon long ago, a warrior king named Tree Spirit, with great power, pacified the four corners of the land and rose to become a universal monarch, the Wheel-Turning King.
