> Udaka Dayaka (Water Giver)

一

> One

清淨無煩擾，見沙門乞食，吾手持水甕，施悉達多佛。

> With a heart serene and free from worldly strife, I beheld the monk, seeking alms in quiet life. In my hands, a vessel of water pure, I offered it to Siddhartha, the Enlightened One, secure.

二

今此吾無穢，疑盡亦無垢，不論再生處，其果於吾現。

> Now I am pure, all doubts are gone, free from defilement—whatever realm I may be reborn in, its outcome is already clear to me.

三

> Three

彼時吾施水，九十四劫間，惡趣吾不知，施水此果報。

> At that time, I offered water, and for ninety-four eons, I knew no unfortunate rebirths—this was the fruit of giving water.

四

> Four

六十一劫昔，一王毘摩羅，大力具七寶，出為轉輪王。

> Sixty-one kalpas ago, King Vimara, mighty and endowed with the seven treasures, arose as a universal monarch.

> Five

四種無礙解……

——如是尊者烏達伽達耶迦長老宣唱此等偈。
