一

> One

如朝日昇輝，如黃金光耀，生立山峽間，如猛虎壯牛。

> Like the rising sun's radiant glow, Like the brilliance of golden light, Dwelling among the mountain valleys, Fierce as a tiger, strong as a mighty bull.

二

> Second.

彼佛之偉大，輝照山峽間，於光線心淨，於天樂一劫。

> The greatness of that Buddha shines across the mountains and valleys, with a mind purified by light, amidst heavenly music for an entire age.

三

> Three

餘經幾多劫，得遂行善業，吾心得淨化，念佛常不斷。

> Through countless kalpas, I have strived to cultivate virtuous deeds. My mind has been purified through unwavering Buddha recitation.

四

> Four

彼時得佛想，由三萬劫數，吾不知惡趣，佛想此果報。

> At that time, one who holds the thought of Buddhahood, for thirty thousand kalpas, I do not know of any descent into evil realms; such is the reward of maintaining this thought of enlightenment.

五

> Five

五十七劫昔，出世一人王，大力名善生，出為轉輪王。

> Fifty-seven kalpas ago, a great king appeared in the world—powerful and named Shansheng (Good Birth), who arose as a Wheel-Turning Monarch.

四種無礙解……

> Four kinds of unobstructed understanding...
