> Chapter 222: Akinna Dayaka (The Gift of Alms)

一

> One

三十劫往昔，吾為作蓆工，吾見離垢佛，以受尊供物。

> Thirty eons ago, I was a mat weaver. I saw the Buddha, Stainless One, and offered him a precious gift.

二

> Second.

世統尸棄佛，吾施碎皮片，吾由於此業，兩足人中尊。

> Vipaśyin Buddha, the world's guide, I offered a small piece of leather; Through this virtuous act, I became honored among both humans and devas.

三

> Three

吾享無顧樂，燃盡眾煩惱，等正覺者教，吾保最後身。

> I enjoy the bliss of freedom, having burned away all worldly afflictions. Following the teachings of the Fully Awakened One, I now carry this final body.

四

> Four

吾施此皮衣，三十一劫間，惡趣吾不知，施皮衣果報。

> I gave away this leather robe, and for thirty-one eons, I never knew the lower realms—this is the fruit of giving cloth.

五

> Five

第五劫往昔，有王名善施，大力具七寶，出為轉輪王。

四種無礙解……
