New graves in the wilds are filled with the young, Do not wait for gray hair to begin your practice. Life and death are matters of great urgency; The torments of hell are long—how can you be idle? If your spiritual work remains undone, what will you rely on? Once this human life is lost, when will it return? The road ahead is dark, the path perilous; In every moment, shape your own destiny.
