### 請寶覺臻公住天寧

> Please Invite Venerable Baojue Zhen to Tianning Monastery

佛之法道，世所追崇，雖外護付諸王臣，然荷負必須龍象。咨之於眾，愛憎或出於人情；公則生明，真偽難逃於智鑒。來膺妙選，果得耆年。伏惟寶覺大士臻公，以禪寂為家鄉，以翰墨為遊戲。閒房古寺，甘畢生於折腳鐺中；各夢同床，曾失笑於破頭山下。而判府待制，妙於龐老識丹霞初不出門，應歎仲尼知伯雪猶資擊目。今日重新法席，一時共贊天寧。演暢宗乘，聚三湘之雲衲；祝延睿筭，同萬國之山呼。

> The Buddha's path of Dharma is universally revered. Though worldly support comes from kings and ministers, the burden of carrying it forth must rest upon true masters of the Way. When decisions are made based on public opinion, favor and disfavor can be swayed by personal feelings; but when fairness prevails, clarity emerges, and truth from falsehood cannot escape the discerning eye. Those who come to answer this excellent selection are indeed seasoned elders. I pay homage to the venerable Master Baojue, who has made meditation and stillness his home, and calligraphy and ink his play. In quiet rooms and ancient temples, he willingly spent his entire life with a broken-legged iron pot for company. Sharing dreams in the same bed, he once laughed heartily beneath the Mountain of the Broken Head. The Prefect and Attendant, wonderfully akin to Pang the layman who recognized Danxia without ever leaving his gate, might sigh that Confucius knew Boyue only through the aid of sight. Today, the Dharma seat is newly established, and all join in praising Tianning. We proclaim the ancestral tradition, gathering cloud-robed monastics from the three Xiang rivers; we pray for the Emperor's long life, joining the ten thousand nations in shouts of acclaim.
