> A noble Dharma bell, cast in perfect form and measure, Its crown stands like a soaring dragon, its waist gathers like a phoenix in dance. Its sound stirs flowers to drift, its resonance lingers as birds gather. It reaches far across the heavens, heard throughout the entire land. It awakens the assembly of immortals and rouses the worldly crowd. It is the pillar of the fourfold community, the gateway to the three realms.
