> After the Mid-Autumn Festival, One Evening, Enjoying the Moon with Master Che

挾袱登山寺，從遊澹薄中。竹風吹衲冷，巖月照囊空。把臂談肝膈，看雲憶雁鴻。孤懷殊彷彿，原是舊村翁。

> Carrying my bundle, I climb the mountain temple, Wandering freely among those of simple, carefree hearts. The bamboo breeze blows cold through my monk's robe, While the moon over the cliffs lights an empty purse. Arm in arm, we speak from the depths of our hearts, Watching the clouds, we recall the wild geese's flight. In my solitary heart, a familiar feeling stirs— I am, after all, that same old village man.
