沙村返照澹餘暉，老去情枯道自肥。滿眼閒愁圖不得，萬竿寒玉碧成圍。暗驚歲月行飄忽，已覺雲山負衲衣。一笑且從吾所適，蕩除五十二年非。

> The village in the sand reflects the fading sunset glow, As I grow old, emotions wither, yet the Way grows full and deep. Idle worries fill my eyes, impossible to paint or hold, Ten thousand cold jade bamboos encircle me in emerald green. In secret, I startle at how swiftly the years pass by, Already feeling the mountain mists have outworn this monk's robe. With a smile, I simply follow where my heart leads, Sweeping away the wrongs of fifty-two years.
