大手段人從戎馬中走出，是真豪傑、真為生死人，但未知平素入道機緣何處得來？從人得？自性得？雖是自性宗通，亦假稟受師承。爾師三際已過世矣，今來欲老僧法語，只得露布一上，試問還殺人否？

> A great man has emerged from the battlefield—a true hero, one who truly understands life and death. Yet, I wonder, where did your initial inspiration for the path come from? Did it come from others, or from your own nature? Even though your understanding arises from your own nature, it still relies on the guidance of a teacher. Your teacher, Sanji, has already passed away. Now that you have come seeking my words of Dharma, I can only offer this straightforward question: Do you still kill?
