宋翰林蘇紳公嘗題金山一聯云僧依玉鑑光中住人踏金鰲背上行時公方舉大科識者以人踏金鰲背上行乃榮入玉堂之兆已而果然公位止於內相豈亦詩之讖耶青箱雜記

> Song dynasty scholar Su Shen once wrote a couplet for Jinshan Temple: "Monks dwell in the light of the jade mirror, / People walk upon the back of the golden turtle." At the time, he was about to take the imperial examination. Those with insight saw the line "People walk upon the back of the golden turtle" as an omen of entering the Hanlin Academy—and indeed it came true.
