紅塵堆裏藏身，白法門中著腳，賺去賺來，一生臨危，無得無說。復震威喝一喝，云：「低聲低聲，切不可驚醒我孤松下底羸鶴。」

> Hiding within the dust of the mundane world, yet planting footsteps in the gate of the pure Dharma; hustled and hustling through life, facing peril at every turn, with nothing gained and nothing spoken. Once more, he shook the hall with a mighty shout, saying: "Lower your voice, lower your voice—take care not to startle the frail crane beneath my lone pine."
