### 復尊素王居士

浪跡湖江，閱人如海，非無淵才博雅之士，至若門下之胸藏山澤氣薄雲天，則寥寥罕見矣！祇挹清光，恨以為晚，乃塞鴻越燕，各有天涯，遂不能長茲白社共闡大猷，愾歎如何？山僧衰頹易老，豈堪北地風霜？青淄之轍，旋即言歸，所望了諸未了，亦駕出天都二十四橋風月，尚有待于玄賞之人也。

> Roaming the lakes and rivers, I have met countless people like the sea, and among them were indeed those of profound talent and broad learning. Yet, those whose spirit holds the grandeur of mountains and lakes, whose aura rivals the heavens—such individuals are rare indeed! I have only glimpsed your noble light, regretting that our meeting came so late. Now, like wild geese crossing the north and swallows flying south, each must go their separate ways across the sky. Thus, we cannot long remain in this pure assembly to expound the great teachings together—how deeply I sigh! This mountain monk grows frail and ages easily—how could I endure the northern winds and frosts? The tracks of my journey to Qingzhou and Zibo will soon turn homeward. What I hope is to resolve what remains unresolved, and to ride forth from the celestial capital. The moonlit breeze over the Twenty-Four Bridges still awaits those with a discerning heart to appreciate its mystery.
