一

> One

「此汝美蓮池，平坦休息所，水多花滿開，蜂蝶來群集；緣何業應果，汝得此美物？

> "This is your beautiful lotus pond—a peaceful resting place, brimming with water and flowers in full bloom, swarming with bees and butterflies. What good deeds led to this? Why do you enjoy such beauty?"

二

> Second.

此汝菴羅林，四季結果實，花開蜂群集；緣何業應果，汝得此宮殿？」

> "This mango grove of yours bears fruit all year round; flowers bloom and bees gather in swarms. Why has your good karma brought you such a palace?"

三

> Three

「菴羅果實水，米汁涼心樂，我女行布施，我得生此處。」

四

「自制與節制，布施果現前，為家族侍女，今為家義妹，且為支配者。

五

> Five

如是不愉快作愉快顏色，愛不愛顏色，苦為樂顏色，以勝於懈怠。」

> If you act this way: making unpleasant things seem pleasant, making what you dislike appear lovable, making suffering appear as happiness, you are superior to laziness and negligence."
