### 附為尊嚴六秩請啟

伏以一音演暢，甘露遍於河沙；三藏圜通，法雨周於塵剎。當時說無所說，四十九年曾無一字；至今傳無所傳，百千萬載剩有千函。恭惟西來大和尚，振衣鷲嶺、洗缽曹源。常驅耕夫之牛，有時而帶水拖泥；既奪饑人之食，不妨亦牽犁拉耙。慈航普濟，悲願弘加。竊念霖質本顓愚，性非慧敏。服官千里，不勝岵屺之思；倚閭九年，未遑顧復之報。茲值家嚴初度六秩，恭請大慈弘大法之寶輪，微塵眾生獲玅智；擊大法之雷鼓，百千世界盡聲聞。躋大地於春臺；登閻浮於壽域。伏願飛錫遄臨，祥光賁於白雪；雲幢至止，瑞靄溢於陽春。弟子霖臨啟，無任翹誠之至。

> Since the Buddha's teaching began to spread, sweet nectar has showered across countless worlds; the Three Treasuries resonate perfectly, the rain of Dharma moistens every realm. He spoke, yet spoke nothing— in forty-nine years, not a single word remained. Today, it is transmitted, yet nothing is transmitted— after a hundred thousand years, a thousand scrolls remain. I respectfully call upon the Great Master from the West, who shakes his robe on Vulture Peak, washes his bowl in the Caoyuan Stream. He often drives the farmer’s ox, Sometimes wading through mud and water. Having seized the hungry person’s food, He may also pull the plow and rake. The compassionate ferry crosses all beings, His merciful vows extend far and wide. I humbly reflect: Though I am dull and foolish by nature, Lacking sharp intelligence, I have served in official posts far from home, Unable to quell my longing for my parents. For nine years I neglected filial duties, And failed to repay their loving care. Now, as my father’s sixtieth birthday approaches, I humbly invite the Great Compassionate One to turn the great Dharma wheel. May countless beings attain wonderful wisdom; Beat the great Dharma drum, And a hundred thousand worlds hear its sound. Lift all beings onto the platform of spring; Place every soul in the realm of longevity. May you hasten here with your flying staff, Your auspicious light shining upon white snow. May your cloud-banner arrive, Bringing blessings that overflow in spring’s warmth. Your disciple \[Lin\] respectfully initiates this invitation, With utmost sincerity.
