益老風光孰讓他，夕昕常演妙伽陀，機先有句凡情寡，句下無私道味多。榮辱匪干心上策，利名罔係目前科，滿腔浩氣空今古，法法誰輕意放過。

> The elder's radiant presence—who could surpass him? From dawn to dusk, he expounds the wondrous verses. Before conditions arise, his words surpass ordinary sentiment; Beneath each phrase, selfless wisdom flows abundantly. Honor and disgrace never touch his heart's resolve; Profit and fame hold no sway in his present deeds. His breast brims with noble spirit, transcending past and present— How could any teaching be lightly dismissed?
