> Buddha Shakyamuni Consecration Ceremony

「迦文老子將正法眼藏付囑流通，無令斷絕。看來父母所生眼悉見三千界，人人有分，但以濁智流轉，不能觸處圓明。且道：臨濟小廝兒卻具一隻眼落在甚處？」以手指像，云：「看取堂中新現身，青珠突出無遮障。」

> Shakyamuni, the Elder, entrusted the Treasury of the Right Dharma Eye to be transmitted and circulated, never allowing it to be cut off. Consider this: the eyes born from our parents see all realms throughout the three thousand worlds—every person has this share. Yet because deluded consciousness flows and turns, we cannot touch every place with perfect brightness. Now tell me: where does that single eye of Linji, that little lad, fall? He pointed to the image and said: "Behold the new manifestation in this hall—the blue pearl stands out, unobstructed and clear."
