### 演教禪院

> Yanjiao Chan Monastery

唐名感化院，在江陰縣軍城新津門東北唐天祐十二年，鎮遏使秦誠建元季廢明江陰侯吳良改建城隍廟。

> The Tang Dynasty named it the House of Transformation. It was located northeast of the Xinjin Gate in the military town of Jiangyin County. Built in the twelfth year of the Tianyou era of the Tang Dynasty by the military commander Qin Cheng, it fell into disuse by the end of the Yuan Dynasty. During the Ming Dynasty, Marquis Wu Liang of Jiangyin rebuilt it into the City God Temple.
