> If past good karma causes rebirth as a human, one will enjoy abundant wealth and much happiness. If past bad karma causes rebirth as a human, one will experience poverty, hardship, and various sufferings. This is called karmic influence.

> It means that because of a single good deed done in a past life, one experiences great wealth and abundance in this life. Building on that, one continues to cultivate more good deeds, gradually being born into noble and influential families, and ultimately attaining the full and perfect fruit of goodness—this is called "Completing Karma." If, due to a single evil deed from a past life, one experiences poverty and suffering in this life, and then continues to commit more evil deeds, gradually being born into destitute families, and eventually reaping the full and complete fruit of extreme evil—this is called "Completing Karma."
