### 冰輪禪人乞警語

> A Warning for the Meditator Binglun

參禪志向須決烈，一副心腸剛似鐵；埋身萬丈古坑中，絕後再甦心始歇。莫弄巧舌頭，休管通身熱；冰河發燄猛燒天，鐵樹開花笑不徹。心要細！膽要大！空中飛走行無礙；須彌推倒勢何雄？滄海吸乾猶未在。故鄉未到切須歸，歸到還須更活埋；識漏不乾終帶病，道胎無養禍常來。記我話！莫閒猜！了後猶愁不了懷；金蕊銀絲猶是藥，空王不坐寶花臺。

> To practice meditation, your resolve must be fierce and absolute— A heart as unyielding as iron. Plunge yourself into the deep, ancient pit, And only after dying completely can you truly revive, your mind finally at rest. Don't play with clever words, don't fuss over the body's burning heat. When the frozen river bursts into flames, scorching the sky, And the iron tree blossoms, laughter knows no end. The mind must be subtle! The courage vast! Walk through the air, unobstructed. What grandeur to topple Mount Sumeru! Even draining the vast ocean is not enough. If you haven't yet reached your true home, you must return at once. But once you arrive, you must bury yourself even deeper. If the leak of ignorance isn't sealed dry, illness lingers on; Without nurturing the embryo of awakening, disasters keep coming. Remember my words! Don't guess idly! Even after awakening, worries may still remain. Golden stamens and silver threads are still medicine— The King of Emptiness does not sit upon a jeweled lotus throne.
