> Farewell to Scholar Lin Wenfan

爍破乾坤別有天，踏翻無底破蓬船；其人恍在水壺裏，此眼誰開藻鑑先？款乃聲中歌白雪，廣長舌上吐青蓮；莫教忘卻來時路，好看真光一點圓。

> Ablaze, it shatters heaven and earth, revealing another sky— kicking over the bottomless boat, its tattered awning breaks free. One seems to drift within a water pitcher’s bound, but who first opens this eye, the mirror’s clarity profound? Amid the oar’s creak, a song of pure white snow is sung; from the broad, far-reaching tongue, a blue lotus is sprung. Do not forget the path by which you came— behold that truest light, one perfect point of flame.
