> Four Dignities in the Mountains

山中行，芒鞋似虎獰。攜籃去，石上採岩藤。

> Walking through the mountains, my straw sandals are as fierce as a tiger. Carrying my basket, I go to pick vine branches on the rocks.

山中住，石室玲瓏處。更幽奇，竹徑芭蕉樹。

> Dwelling in the mountains, in a hollow cave of luminous stone. Even more secluded and wondrous, a bamboo path lined with banana trees.

山中坐，麋鹿菴前過。遶澗迴，示似泥牛大。
