> Couplet

海藏經文，出廣長舌，橫說豎說、塵說剎說、麤說妙說，一句一偈，巍巍乎總是箇中消息；聞，一定一動，蕩蕩乎無非本地風光。龍蟠古寺，納息安詳，正聞順聞、思聞修聞、澄聞淨

倒搭一頂麤布伽黎，盤陀石上跏趺而坐，通身慶快；橫握一條烏藤拄杖，香雲徑上獨步時遊，脫體風光。

> Draping a coarse monk's robe over his shoulders, he sits cross-legged on a flat boulder, his whole body filled with joy. Holding a black vine staff horizontally, he strolls alone along the path of fragrant clouds, his entire being radiating natural grace.

一掌一握血，劈破面門，真機漏洩， 行藏如野鶴；一棒一條痕，天魔膽喪，祖佛魂驚，聚散若孤雲。

> A palmful of blood, tearing through the face-gate, true secrets spill forth, Coming and going like a wild crane; A single staff leaves its mark, demons lose their nerve, patriarchs and Buddhas tremble, Gathering and scattering like a lone cloud.

世尊拈花，露出箇中消息子， 一水蒼如繡；迦葉微笑，單提教外別傳機。千峰翠若屏。

> The World-Honored One held up a flower, revealing the subtle truth within— a single stream, deep blue like embroidery; Kāśyapa smiled, directly transmitting the mind beyond the teachings— a thousand peaks, green as a screen.

或慈或威，視眾生猶如赤子， 門列千峰秀；若定若動，觀諸佛亦是冤家。心融萬境閒。

四句離，歷歷明明皆祖意， 擔泉攜日月；百非絕，塵塵剎剎即吾心。撥火弄雲煙。

孤峰頂上，一任呵風罵雨， 深山藏拙衲；百尺岩前，不妨煮石蒸雲，古寺聚獰龍。

普濟門前，一任東來西往， 寶地平如掌；真如境內，不妨北斗南觀，喬松翠若雲。

胸襟無我，一任呼牛喚馬， 野鳥山猿談妙法；杖笠隨緣，何妨帶水拖泥，燈籠露柱弄玄機。

遮條窮性命，不妨立地撐天， 仙山慣集蓬萊客；百尺冷門庭，一任寒來暑往，古洞常迎世外賓。
