### 示貴筑悟禪人

> Instructions to Guide Guizhu Wu Chanren

若論此事，不向外求，只因境緣牽引，迷失無位真人，不見本來面目，遂為生死流轉。忽然回光返照，急欲推尋，如失了極重物，畢竟要親見親得，然後放下，直逼拶到水窮山盡處，驀地相逢。咄！元來在者裏。

> When it comes to this matter, you need not seek outside yourself. It is only because you are pulled along by external circumstances that you lose sight of the true person without rank, and fail to recognize your original face. Thus, you are caught in the cycle of birth and death. Suddenly, you turn your light inward and anxiously search—as if you have lost something of immense value. You are determined to see it for yourself and reclaim it, so that you may finally let go. You press on, pushed to the point where the water runs dry and the mountains end—and then, abruptly, you meet it face to face. Ha! So it was here all along.
