> Nanyuan Points to the Peony in the Courtyard for Minister Lu

一體同根不易論，鏡中頭面豈為親？夢來花鳥渾忘我，覺去聲香似隔鄰。若箇暗銷芳草綠，為誰辜負洛陽春？多因貪看天邊月，賺卻風前獨立人。

> All things share the same root before division, How can a reflection in a mirror be considered one's own face? In dreams, birds and flowers made me forget myself completely, Upon waking, sounds and scents feel distant like a neighbor's. Who silently wore away the green of fragrant grass? For whom was the spring of Luoyang wasted in vain? Mostly because I was too fond of watching the moon on the horizon, I tricked myself into standing alone before the wind.

本是同根無二體，反因肇論卻顢頇，分明指上重拈出，豈較時人夢裏看。
