> Dongshan's Three Pounds of Flax

娉婷獨坐不勝情，簾外何人錯認聲，細語微吟聽欲絕，呼郎一字最分明。

> Through the curtain, I thought I heard your voice and my heart trembled, Like a graceful lotus under the moonlight, alone and pining away. Whispering and chanting—my longing nearly unbearable— That one word, "my dear," was the most clear call of all.

跨海凌風入大唐，山呼萬歲見君王，無端認得捉刀者，未出關門已受傷。

> I crossed the sea and braved the wind to reach the great Tang dynasty. The mountains roared "Long live the King!" as I appeared before the sovereign. But I happened to recognize the blade-wielding official— And before even passing the border, I was wounded.
