上臺山，過妙德庵，禮覲本師老人，同諸位大師出臨濟三頓痛棒、三玄三要命頌。師總頌曰：
三頓烏藤被熱瞞，大愚肋下始還拳，箇中玄要分明露，也要時人仔細參。

鍾子擊碎於此有感隨作一偈
