依三事言：「我得第二禪與第三禪……得第二禪與第四禪……我心離癡蓋。」如此故意說虛妄者，波羅夷……乃至……。

> Based on three things, he said: "I have attained the second jhana and the third jhana... I have attained the second jhana and the fourth jhana... My mind is free from the hindrance of ignorance." If he intentionally speaks falsely like this, it is a defeat (parajika) ... up to ... .

依三事言：「我得第二禪與初禪……被我所證。」如此故意說虛妄者，波羅夷……乃至……。

> Based on three matters, he said: "I have attained the second jhāna and the first jhāna... I have realized them." If he deliberately speaks falsely in this way, it is a Pārājika offense... and so on...
