### 住千佛林

康熙壬戌秋，師在南源，受零陵縣眾護法及監院德度等請，於十月朔旦入院。

開爐，上堂。「嵛山展衲僧巴鼻，湘水傳列祖心印。若也會得，何須畫地為牢？設若狐疑，只得剋期取證。」以拂子向空畫一圓相，曰：「直須打破者牢關，枝枝珊瑚撐著月。」

> Opening the furnace, the master ascended the hall and said: "Yu Mountain reveals the monk's true nature; Xiang River carries the mind-seal of the patriarchs. If you can understand this, why draw a circle on the ground to imprison yourself? But if doubt remains, you must seek realization within a set time." He drew a circle in the air with his whisk and said: "You must break through this prison gate—every branch of coral holds up the moon."

大士聖誕，上堂。「圓通大士何年生？一聲幽鳥送清音。若將耳聽終難會，眼裏聞聲始契真。」
