南岳第十四世
蘄州五祖法演禪師，綿州鄧氏子。年三十五，始逐髮遍參明宿。因浮山指見白雲問南泉摩尼珠話，雲叱之，師領悟，獻投機偈。後開堂，僧問：「如何是佛？」師云：「口是禍門。」
頌：「三登九上瞖浮雲，一顆摩尼價逾增。撲碎滿盤光燦爛，禍殃不入慎家門。」
