### 第三代鑑智僧璨大師

> Third Patriarch Sengcan

皖公山下，業風俄吹；病不瞑眩，厥藥何施？遇折肱人，笑而指點；覓罪不得，九重雲卷。日麗中天，光吞萬象；三寶燦然，光生花上。心珠獨露，明白無瑕；隨照失宗，門出千差。得旨歸根，現前大用；能徹悟之，自知奉重。謂吾處得，反成相誣；獅子游行，肯落轍途。不負來機，此法可續；千聖同銘，無勞更囑。

> At the foot of Mount Wan Gong, the wind of karma suddenly blows; If illness brings no dizziness, what cure can the medicine bring? Meeting a broken-arm man, he smiles and points the way; Seeking fault, none is found—nine-layered clouds roll away. The sun shines bright in the sky, its light swallows all forms; The Three Jewels shine resplendent, light blossoming on flowers. The mind-jewel stands alone, clear and spotless; Follow the light and lose the source—a thousand doors diverge. Grasp the meaning and return to the root—the great function now appears; One who truly awakens knows how to honor and serve. To say "I have attained it" only betrays misunderstanding; A lion roams freely—how could it fall into a rut? Not failing those who come with potential, this Dharma can be passed on; A thousand sages share this seal—no need for further words.
