### 除夕

> New Year's Eve

擁毳寥寥坐竹齋，虛窗香送早梅來。寒聲盡逐殘更去，春色將隨愛日回。竟夕不眠鄉夢斷，慈闈想到旅魂摧。床前靠卻敲風杖，聊對青燈酌茗杯。

> Wearing a coarse patched robe, I sit quietly in my bamboo study, Through the empty window, the fragrance of early plum blossoms wafts in. The cold sounds all fade away with the last watch of the night, And the colors of spring will return with the kindly sun. Having lain awake all night, dreams of home are broken; I think of my mother's loving care, and my traveler's spirit is crushed. By the bed, I set aside my walking staff that taps the wind, And simply face the green lamp, sipping tea from my cup.
