生平托知己，懶集一身貧，兼病三月餘，遣人安得人？

> In life, I trust only my closest friends, yet I remain idle and burdened with poverty. For over three months, I have been ill; who can I send to find someone to care for me?

其二

> Chapter 2

夢我復夢君，與君同笑語，尸臥仍隔津，夢醒俱逆旅。

> I dream of you again, and you dream of me, sharing laughter and words together. Yet even as we lie side by side, a river still separates us. When we wake from dreams, we are all travelers passing through.

其三

買舟一葉輕，欲棹每無力，何處輕薄兒，飛帆去能疾？

> A single leaf of a boat I bought, so light, Yet when I try to row, I find no might. Where are those frivolous youths who dare, With sails unfurled, to race across the air?

其四

深夏金石流，溪水卻膠舟，負病乞時雨，一雨安能周？

其五

雲出山則雨，入山農復苦，安得呼長風，吹雲到青浦？

其六

立秋秋已立，喜雨雨已集，鴈來還未來，何處斂高翮？
