### 元旦，用除夕韻。二首

> New Year's Day, Using the Eve Rhyme.

春風初醞釀，曉色護新雲，園乃澹於古，梅唯爛若焚。履端端不俗，卜響響何聞？所願還明霽，乾坤豈易分？春與精華惜，寒香復凍雲，鶉衣僧尚結，木佛許誰焚？乍可離聲臭，殊難遠見聞，何期冰雪外，一徑小橋分？

> The spring breeze begins to brew, the dawn light shelters new clouds, The garden is tranquil as in ancient times, the plum blossoms blaze like fire. Setting out on the path, the path is not mundane; divining the echoes, what echoes are heard? My wish is for clarity and brightness to return—how could heaven and earth be easily divided? Spring and its essence are cherished, cold fragrance returns to frozen clouds. The monk still knots his ragged robe—who dares to burn the wooden Buddha? One may briefly leave behind sound and scent, yet it is hard to escape sight and hearing. Who would expect beyond the ice and snow, a small path divides by a bridge?
