> Reflections on Crossing Gongchen Bridge

為問甘泉學避兵，鄉名調露正秋清，人煙已逐浮雲散，烽火猶連野燒明。身在茱萸囊且佩，籬無黃菊把難盈，登臨雖有津梁在，欲遠塵氛傍禁城。

> To ask of the Sweet Spring, learning to avoid the war, The village is named Tiaolu, in autumn's crisp air. Smoke from homes has already scattered like drifting clouds, While beacon fires still blaze, bright as wild burning grounds. Though I wear a cornel pouch on my body here, No yellow chrysanthemums fill the fence, I fear. Though climbs and views still have a bridge to guide the way, I long to leave the dust and cling near the city's sway.
