Praise to Shakyamuni Buddha
未離兜率降皇宮，未出母胎度人畢。真實之言可上碑，淺慧凡沈信不及。獨許韶陽得一橛，知他皮下原無血。刻畫深求面目全，分明弄巧翻成拙。
Before leaving Tusita, he descended into the royal palace; Before emerging from his mother's womb, he had already finished guiding beings. Such genuine words deserve to be carved in stone, Yet shallow wisdom and ordinary minds lack the faith to grasp them. Only Shaoyang alone attained a fragment, Knowing that beneath his skin there was originally no blood. Carving and polishing to seek a complete appearance, Clearly it's cleverness that turns into clumsiness.
